How to Recover from (VBS/Loveletter) Virus

The ILOVEYOU, also known as VBS/Loveletter is a computer virus that is written in VBScript. This virus comes in an email with subject line “I LOVE YOU” and contains an attachment. As soon as, user open the attachment, the message being re-sent to all addresses in the address book of the recipient. This virus corrupts all the mail files in Outlook by changing their extension to .MPEG, .JPEG, .MP3, and MP4. This virus affected only Windows users who are using Outlook 98 and 2000.
